We do not usually like alot of dialogue in a movie so this one was perfect. A simple but engrossing story. Unique. Endearing. And worth seeing.
Andrew Stanton creates a horrific vision of a wrecked future Earth, and his animators built a world that is beautiful only in its ugliness: covered with the waste humans consume -- everything from fast-food wrappers to old cars and abandoned shopping malls; a weak sun just barely breaks through an endless cloud; you can practically taste a metallic smell in the air. It%u2019s a classic science fiction dystopia, rendered so realistically that it%u2019s almost impossible to believe all of this is computer animation... and yet the heartbreak of it -- it made me cry, it%u2019s such a poignant representation of human senselessness -- is constantly warring with Wall-E%u2019s joy, for he doesn%u2019t realize that he%u2019s in a dystopia. He%u2019s alone, but he%u2019s not unhappy.
I thought it was a really sweet movie. It also gave a good message to the children. I would definatley buy it for my nieces when it comes out on dvd
Very, very slow in the beginning w/ cheesy music and a lot of wandering around. It picks up once you go into the ship and see people. Very realistic w/ fat slobs everywhere being catered to and the Earth is a dump. They were better off staying on the ship in my opinion. Cute movie though and a must see.
You'd think Pixar would at some point make a movie that doesn't live up to it's others, but that's still not the case with Wall-E. This movie was excellent. On top of having all the funny moments you'd expect from a Pixar film, it also has some mildly intellectual views. Go see this movie if you haven't, it definitely caters to a vast majority of tastes.
this movie was retarded. i didnt even see it PENIS!!!!! jk jk lol. i heard that the dialouge was just walllllllllllll eeeeeeee and VAGINA!!!! jk jk lol.
OK, my Grandson was over for the week and he chose this. Oh the things we do for our kids, I thought. But you know what I got into it and the time was not wasted. GO SEE IT if you have not. The time we spent "priceless" and not wasted I enjoyed it as much as he did.
Wall-E is a very cute movie worthy of the pixar name. Although if you look at it from the human perspective it is a very bleak vision of the future.
